Multi-tenancy in microservice architecture

Thanh Tran

Building microservices is hard, and it becomes even harder when combining with multi-tenant architecture. Within this talk, we're going to discuss some solutions that can be solved the problem with database sharding and elasticity techniques. Azure SQL Database elastic pool is a shared resource model that enables higher resource utilization efficiency and cost-effective in multitenant scenarios.

High-performance Services with gRPC

Hung Nguyen

gRPC is a high-performance RPC framework designed for microservices. In this talk you will learn what gRPC is and how you can use it in .NET 5 to build high-performance microservices.

13:25 PM - 14:05 PM

Building Distributed Cloud-Native Applications with Dapr

Phuong Le + Thang Chung

The presentation introduces the obstacles to building distributed enterprise applications.
Then, we are going to show you how Dapr perfectly fixes these problems. This part also emphasizes what is Dapr as well as its basic building blocks concepts such as service to service invocation, state management, publish/subscribe mechanism, and security aspects on building distributed enterprise applications with the microservice-based approach.
Finally, at the end of this presentation, we will give you a practical understandable demo that puts Dapr to work on top of Kubernetes (Microsoft AKS) and all in together equip the power for cloud-native apps development.
